| Sumario: | The text presents reflections on the bibliographic rarity in Brazilian Library and Information Science from two excerpts - temporal (1941 to 2015) and discursive (concept of rare book, history of rare book in Brazil, reports of institutional experience and criteria of rarity), in order to reflect on the evolution of intellectual production on the theme and on the actors who contributed to and mobilize these discussions. In view of this, it presents a selective and non-exhaustive panorama of speeches referring to the rare book in Brazilian Library and Information Science with the aim of systematizing production and indicating the evolution and contributions of librarian professionals in this scenario. Finally, it systematizes the perspectives revealed by intellectual production on the subject today as a way of contributing to the studies of bibliographic heritage in Brazil. |
