| Sumario: | Brazil facilitated the development of futsal, contributing to the advancement of the modality and the creation and adaptation of the rules, especially in the inclusion of the line goalkeeper tactic, allowing the futsal goalkeeper to assume more responsibilities in the game. In view of this, the aim of this study was to analyze the influence of the goalkeeper on the results of futsal games. Using a qualitative literature review as a methodology, the following databases were searched: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Virtual Health Library (BVS) and Capes Periodicals, with the search expression: “goalkeeper” AND futsal. Complete articles published between 2012 and 2022, in Portuguese, were selected and, after reading the titles, abstracts and in full, identifying consistency with the theme, these could be included. Most of the articles analyzed in this study showed as a result that the use of the line goalkeeper tactic contributed to positive effects in futsal matches, in addition to promoting game advantages. However, it was observed that specific training for this tactic was an important indication since there were times when it could have been more effective. In view of this, the present work contributes to the coaches and fans of the sport understanding a possible game tactic that can increase the effectiveness of the goalkeeper, so that, in this way, they seek to prepare their teams. |
