Descrição
Resumo:This work presents the elaboration of “A glossary of Gender Studies in Brazil”, a terminographic product based on the understanding that terms are units of general languages that acquire a specialized character according to their use in specialized contexts. Therefore, the methodological approach of Corpus Linguistics was used to compile a study corpus, as well as to identify terminological units. The corpus, composed of scientific articles from two of the most important journals in the field in Brazil, Revista de Estudos Feministas and Cadernos Pagu, was processed and analyzed using the Antconc tool. In addition to the 218 terms listed as entries, organized from base terms, the glossary presents explanatory and/or associative contexts, varied notes and an information crossing system that connects the terms of the field.
