| Resumo: | In this paper, we cover the technique of discourse analysis in the process of scientific research. This theme is part of a broader scientific investigation being conducted on theoretical reference methods and their compatibilities in the field of scientific research. For that purpose, we present the scientific concept of discourse analysis, as well as a listing of important points in employing the theoretical trend of Critical Discourse Analysis and its application in Ethnomethodology of Conversation. Thus, aiming at the socialization of this methodological process, our focus lies in its principal stages, i.e. procedures most relevant to carrying out discourse analysis in the process of scientific research. Lastly, we discuss the validity and the importance of this technique in scientific research, preferably qualitative research, since it gives prevalence tothe hermeneutics of analyzed discourses and for a better understanding, we present some examples of practical application of Critical Discourse Analysis (ACD). |
