| Sumario: | The aim of this research is to present a contribution to those who teach morphology of Portuguese for speakers of this language as first or second language. For this, we took Bybee’s research on morphology(1985) that looks for the relations existing in the paradigms of verbs and nouns, relating them to semantic and cognitive aspects. In this paper, we are treating morphemes expressed by zero and some aspects of the so called “irregular inflection”. |
