In the eighties, a tradition of photographic representation develops a strong questioning and commitment related to vulnerable social sectors. This process is concomitant with the strong consolidation of the illustrated press and also the recognition of photography as a autonomous and efficient way to celebrate a nation’s cultural memory and imagination.
