Sumario:In this paper we present the synthesis of an investigation that was carried out during the first wave of the pandemic in Chile and aims to account for the impacts of Covid-19 on indigenous peoples and Afro-descendants, focusing on the responses that have been made. given from their own traditional organizations and from their worldview. The foregoing has shown that when state action is lacking, indigenous peoples have a high degree of self-management based on their own cultural forms.
