| Resumo: | This review aims to present the book Juntando Cacos, Resgatando Vidas [...], by Valdeci Antônio Ferreira. The book is both an explanation of the APAC (Association for the Protection and Assistance of the Condemned) method and the presentation of the humanizing proposal for the fulfillment of the criminal penalty carried out by the method.
