| Sumario: | Knowing that ignorance is a contributing factor to the occurrence of plagiarism (ALVES; MOURA, 2016) and that the larger the understanding of this practice is less is its occurrence (INARELLI et al., 2011), by means of this dissertation, describe what is plagiarism of written work and identify what are its consequences in legal field (civil law, Penal and labor) and moral sphere, ethics and professional conduct. To describe the contours of plagiarism, a bibliographical search was done, consistent in the survey and compilation of the doctrinal publications, always in the light of the copyright law, which made it possible to identify the protected intellectual works, the necessary requirements for their protection, the author of the legal point of view, their rights, limitations and assumptions of lawful use of the work. Then, as a form of misuse, it was conceptualizing the plagiarism and their chances of exclusionary. For detection of plagiarism, the tests used by doctrine and jurisprudence were briefly exposed, as well as identified a few virtual tools, tested through the submission of excerpts of statements. In identifying the consequences of plagiarism, beyond the bibliographic survey, a document search was conducted, with current case law analysis, especially with regard to legal implications. Based on the bibliographical and documentary research conducted, it was possible to develop graphic material (folder), in four pages, with simple, affordable and straightforward language, aimed at graduating population entering, with Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 international (CC BY 4.0), which enables the sharing and adaptation by anyone. Hopefully, with the definition of plagiarism, its consequences and with the material elaborated, it is possible to spread knowledge and, through oblique via, prevent or reduce the occurrence of the harmful practice of plagiarism. |
