Agradecemos também às ou aos revisores anônimos pelos valiosos comentáriosCom a crescente popularidade das técnicas de inteligência artificial, questões relativas às capacidades e limitações dessas tecnologias ganham notoriedade. Este trabalho propõe que, como formas contemporâneas de automatismo, tais tecnologias compartilham semelhanças com as analisadas pela filosofia da técnica de Gilbert Simondon e que, por isso, seu pensamento seria de grande valor para refletir sobre elas. Partindo principalmente da "Nota complementar sobre as consequências da noção de individuação", e tomando o algoritmo rede neural artificial como exemplo, o artigo apresenta três momentos em que a inteligência artificial apresentaria limitações em relação a sua estrutura fixada pelo humano inventor: nos dados de entrada, no treinamento do modelo e na representação final do conhecimento supostamente aprendido. O artigo conclui com uma breve análise das consequências do uso extensivo de tecnologias inteligentes à luz das limitações apresentadasAbstract: With the growing popularity of artificial intelligence techniques, questions about the capabilities and limitations of these technologies gain notoriety. This work proposes that, as contemporary forms of automatism, these technologies share similarities with those analyzed by Gilbert Simondon’s philosophy of technique. It also proposes that therefore his thought is of great value to reflect on them. Developing mainly from "Complementary note on the consequences of the notion of individuation", and taking artificial neural network as an example algorithm, the article presents three moments when artificial intelligence would express limitations in relation to its structure that was fixed by its inventor. These limitations are in the input data, in the training of the model and in the final representation of the knowledge allegedly learned.
