Sumario:Motor dysfunction can result in limitation or loss of independence in activities of daily living, such as dressing. In this way, the study carries out a redesign of clothing items from the summer 2023-2024 collection of the Rota do Mar brand, aiming to improve the dressing of people with mobility disabilities. To this end, it surveys the difficulties related to clothing that people with disabilities face, analyzes the alternative clothing items aimed at this public on the market and identifies possible adaptations to make clothing more inclu- sive, thus producing prototypes for serve this population. For the development of this proj- ect, Bernd Löbach’s project development model was used as a design methodology, taking into account the principles of Universal Design. The results indicate that the main needs and challenges are related to the lack of adaptations in the pieces that make them more inclusive without losing their aesthetic and symbolic factors and that the solutions found are easy to develop for the industry.
