| Sumario: | This paper proposes a reading of two books by Portuguese poet Tatiana Faia – Leopardo e abstracção (2020) and Adriano (2022) – recognizing appearances of the figure of the Nymph, studied by Aby Warburg and retaken by Georges Didi-Huberman as a theoretical allegory that mobilizes a destabilizing thought about time and its logic. Insistent and fluid, recurrent and metamorphic, Nymph traverses the history of culture, creating folds between times and between texts, promoting critical crossings of the past and the present. A reflective gesture that seems especially dear to a contemporary poet who also dedicates to classical studies. |
