| Sumario: | This work analyzes the construtivist epistemologic suppositions employed in the study of the journalistic field. It propposes that there are consistent evidences for a propper use of the expression Construtivist Journalism, if not for an exclusive approach, at least for a certain kind of approach. Epistemologic questions on truth, objectivity and legitimation forms in journalistic products are indispensable for the adaptation and consolidation of a theory of journalism in a constructivist scientific paradigm. There is an ethical dimension inherent to the constructivist perspective that is an indispensable standard for a precise evaluation of the quality and legitimacy of the professional performance of the journalist in the social construction of reality. |
