Descripción
Sumario:This paper, an attempt to deal with the interpretation of the film Little Tickles under the academic perspective of Hermeneutics, aims to discuss the issue of sexual abuse suffered by girls in their childhood. The theoretical contributions from Rogério de Almeida and Marcos Ferreira-Santos on Cinema and Hermeneutics allow us to comprehend that Cinema, through its proposed itineraries, is also a means of formation. Thus, in that sense, Cinema can be seen as an educational resource. The author of this paper openly reverberates her academic trajectory, making use of constructs regarding education, feminism, genre and sexuality. All of those academic constructs are enriched by the views of the Spanish essayist María Zambrano, in her work entitled As metáforas do coração (The metaphors of the heart) - a sensitive essay in which the resonances of a childhood sexual abuse throughout her life as a woman are highlighted. As a conclusion, the present academic work shows that much courage is needed to break free from such pains. For this reason, it is highly important to narrate, to study and to discuss child sexual abuse with teachers and parents so that children who have suffered those sorts of violence may have a chance to keep on leading their lives safely.
