Summary:This article aims to demonstrate the importance of applicability of Blockchain technology and the Smart Contracts, in the scope of Corporate Law, and their legal aspects. For the accomplishment of this work, the deductive method was used. The blockchain is a distributed ledger technology which functions as a distributed database, that has the potential to guarantee greater effectiveness, safety and transparency of the information that are stored, for the main characteristic the immutability of transactions. These new technologies are impacting directly in human relations, and for this reason, this article presents an analysis of the importance of the applicability of those technologies in Corporate Law specially to demonstrate that they generate greater efficiency of business transaction, in addition tothe speed that must be guaranteed in the registration process of companies. Furthermore, for example, these technologies can be essential to guarantee greater effectiveness of the General Assembly, can be used, inclusive, as an alternative means for conflict dispute resolution.
