| Resumo: | This article addresses and discusses community football as a leisure experience for a community in Belo Horizonte. We also analyzed how football acts as an inducer of other leisure practices for the residents of Aglomerado Santa Lúcia, working as a kind of “cultural animator” in Parque Municipal Jornalista Eduardo Couri in Belo Horizonte – MG. In order to carry out this research, the field work included visits to the park that allowed for notes in a notebook, interviews and photographic records. As main results, we point out the close relationship between the community and football, the leisure activities that orbit the community fields during matches and the sociability process highly linked to community football. |
