| Sumario: | In this article, the theme of the 2022 Fraternity Campaign is brought to the debate “Fraternity and Education” in direct dialogue with some brief memories of the synodal process that led the Amazon church in the preparatory process in the special synod for the Amazon, titled: “Amazon: new paths for the church e for a Integral Ecology”. It is the result of several formation circles about the Fraternity Campaign that were held in many communities on the outskirts of Boa Vista, the capital city of Roraima State, during the lent period. It collects fragments of the Final Document of the Synodal Assembly and of the Post-synodal Exhortation “Dear Amazon” in the perspective of education in the Amazon. It brings to the debate the subject of Integral Ecology that was the transversal theme, passing necessarily through the debate of the Encyclical Laudato Si. Finally, it presents Synodality as the path and the walk of the Amazon Church and guidance for the whole Church to decolonize its pastoral practices and methodologies in the light of Synodality that represents important ruptures in the itineraries of the whole Church in a learning process among indigenous peoples. |
