| Resumo: | This work aims to contribute to increasing intelligibility regarding the coloniality of language (VERONELLI, 2015; 2019; 2021; BAPTISTA, 2019; BAPTISTA, 2022) and possible connections between this and the locus of enunciation (BAPTISTA, 2019; BAPTISTA, 2021; BAPTISTA, 2022); (ARGÜELLO PARRA, 2016; BERNARDINO-COSTA; GROSFOGUEL, 2016; FIGUEIREDO; GROSFOGUEL, 2010). To this end, we discuss linguistic hierarchization and coloniality, focusing on the conception of linguistic racialization (CERQUEIRA; CARVALHO, 2022). Next, we focus on the colonization of language (VERONELLI, 2015; 2019; 2021; BAPTISTA, 2019; BAPTISTA, 2022), problematizing how this concept can be reviewed and expanded based on the idea of locus of enunciation. Finally, we present examples that emphasize the importance of the locus of enunciation to discursively expand political, cultural, and aesthetic participation and the inscription in the locus of enunciation for the emergence of another ethos of power and subjectivity in the Global South (GROVOGUI, 2011), in front of racialized discourses (MEDEIROS; VIEIRA, 2019). |
