Resumo:Introduction: The observed change in the feminine profile results from the corporal fat increase by the obesity and from the alterations on the fat tissue composition and distribution, that is characterized by an anatomical, physiological, psychological and hormonal alterations process that are accented on the menopause phase. Objective: Verify the possible alterations provoked by the estrogen reduction on the menopause phase, in relation to the visceral adiposity and its treatment through physical exercise. Literature Review: The human again is a natural process that makes the body, gradually, presents diverse anatomical e functional changes, occurring the reduction of the functional capacity. Studies on the sexual hormones effectiveness on the abdominal fat growth are discuss as a review. In essence, preliminary results sufficiently promising exists particularly as for the use of hormonal spare therapy, for alleviate the menopause symptoms, as well as they define the risks and indications associates in its use. The amount of visceral fat is the responsible of metabolic complications. The practice of physical exercises is currently stimulated as a prophylactic and therapeutically part of all the risk factors of the arterial and coronaries illness. Conclusion: It is not possible to determine a specific exercise for the reduction of the abdominal fat, but as a treatment form, the physical exercises raise hormonal secretions, fat oxidation and increases the acid greasy free capitation by the increase of cardiovascular capacity and tecidual oxygen-nation, occurring a significant loss of this fat.
