| Resumo: | The article presents a case study with the Ergonomic Analysis of Work (AET) in a two-wheel industry located in the industrial center of Manaus, in the process of recovering the company's racks. We sought to identify critical points for carrying out the work and propose improvements in order to avoid potential ergonomic problems in the company's employees. The ways of working were evaluated, problems identified and improvements in the execution of the employees' activities. The methodology is characterized by being exploratory and explanatory, with a mixed approach and accompanied by an ergonomic analysis of the work. In obtaining the data, the employees who develop the activities of the workstations in the rack recovery process were observed. With the analysis of the collected data, the ways of manipulating materials and inadequate environmental data were identified. From the analysis carried out, ergonomic changes are recommended to generate significant transformations in the studied sector, aiming at a better comfort for the operator and adequacy to ergonomic standards in the workstation. Through the improvements implemented, positive results were obtained in relation to aspects related to the health and safety of employees, with the expectation of a decrease in illnesses, leaves of absence, an increase in well-being and comfort, as well as an improvement in productivity. |
