Descrição
Resumo:This paper aims to raise relevant issues regarding misinformation and the development of public policies. Due to this initial scope, the question is: considering the democratic fragility exposed by the shaking of the factual truth, what are the conditions and possibilities found from the development of public policies to mitigate the dissemination of disinformation in the social media space in the context of the cybernetic-neocolonial-“Imperial” capitalism? Thus, the hypothesis is that in a disinformative context, the management of public policies aimed at mitigating this phenomenon is a means by which to reorient the democratic course and revive factual truth. In order to develop this proposal, the method of historical materialism is employed from Antonio Negri’s perspective, verifying, after all, the indispensable need for concerted efforts by civil society to curb the phenomenon of disinformation and rebuild the Brazilian democratic fabric.
