Descripción
Sumario:This work aims to study/analyze postings on profiles in the social network Facebook in a group of 50 teachers of basic education from five schools in the state of Rio de Janeiro: Marechal Juarez Távora Public School, Engenheiro Carlos Frederico de Área Leão Public School, Filadelfo Azevedo Private School, São Cristóvão Private School and Madre Tereza de Calcutá Private School. All teachers surveyed are contained in my personal list of Facebook friends. The proposed work aims to verify if these posts encourage the use of the social network Facebook as a teaching resource. Considering that posts on the social networks are free and do not comment specifically on education does not mean that the teachers surveyed, resist or be afraid of using technologies as teaching resources. We chose for 60 days 1234 posts of teachers that make up the corpus of the research. The results showed that even though social networks, a place for discussion and dissemination of diverse and very private matters, the posts in this group had a considerable percentage of specific issues related to complaints, sports, entertainment, politics and education, which meets proposals for inclusion of Facebook as a pedagogical resource, advocated by many researchers and studies, since education requires a plurality of subjects and research facility. To guide this work were used as theoretical frameworks authors: Marcuschi and Xavier (2010 ), Recuero (2010 ), Assmann (2000 ), Levy (1999 ), among others. Keywords: Facebook. Primary Education. Teachers.
