| Resumo: | This article aims to analyze the contribution of the Press Centre, one of the main tools of media criticism in Brazil. Observatory was originally developed by the Laboratory for Advanced Journalism Studies (Labjor), University of Campinas (UNICAMP / SP),. founded in 1996 and organized as a civil non-governmental non-corporate entity, and non-partisan. For this research we developed an exploratory research through a literature review on the media criticism and the history of the Observatory, also noting the contents of the site. We can conclude that the Centre is a permanent forum in which users of the media - readers, listeners, viewers and internautas- can express their opinions on the role of the media in Brazil. |
