Description
Summary:It deals with the university extension program 'Web: advocacy for sustainable libraries', which aims to build a network of projects, integrating library, school and community, from a universe of 28 schools distributed in 6 municipalities. The Web program consists of 5 projects that aim to act in the 4 axes of the Federal University of Cariri: teaching, research, extension and culture. This work aims to present the first year of one of these projects, the 'Radar project: monitoring of innovative actions and solutions in favor of the 2030 Agenda'. The theoretical framework is focused on the constructs of sustainability, sustainable development and the school library. Exploratory research was used, with a dialectical approach and qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results point to 33 projects in the schools surveyed, meeting 10 of the 17 sustainable development goals and a high concentration in SDG 4: 'quality education', in the projects developed by school libraries. It is concluded that the identified projects bring together actions that focus on other SDGs than those indicated in the original project and that actions such as those listed show the dialogical relationship between the University and the School, contributing greatly to academic and citizen education of the actors involved. It is also pointed out the difficulties in monitoring actions in 2021 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
