Sumario:This work aims to analyze alternative communication experiences about women's football that are produced by women. The justification for the present investigation is linked to gaps that exist in the field of sports studies, which are still very dedicated to the hegemonic sports media and do not use categories of analysis typical of journalism studies. Thus, this work starts from a mapping of 48 communication initiatives exclusively or mostly conducted by women about women's football to focus on five of the nine podcasts identified in this process. They are: Dibradoras, Planeta Futebol Feminino, Empório do Esporte Feminino, De Primeira and Podcast das Marias. In this analysis, we use methodological strategies of content analysis and focus on traditional categories in the field of journalism such as themes, types of framing, sources, sources and authors.
