| Sumario: | Diabetes Mellitus it’s a chronic metabolic non transmissible disease who involve a large world population nowadays. Always associated to great social and economics impact related thru their budget to treat it, as well to the comorbilities who involved this disease.A Local Photobiomodulation Therapy are a very usfull resource to treat the inflammatory process and wound healing. A Hyaluronic Acid are plenty use to modulate the inflammatory process, but his use jointed to Photobiomodularion are very uncommon, also unknow about the biological and metabolic process. This Research Objective was to evaluate the effect of the Local Photobiomodulation Therapy conjointed with subcutaneal application of Hyaluronic Acid, to test the Skin Resistance and Organization on experimental model of induced Diabetes in Winstar mice. Methodology: Male Winstar mice were ramdomized and they induce Diabetes with Stretozotocin inyections, and separated in 5 groups: 1. Healty, non Diabetic (Control Group), 2. Diabetic non Treated Group (NT group), 3. Diabetic Treated with Photobiomodulation (PBM group), 4. Diabetic Treated with Hyaluronic Acid 2% dilution on carboximetil cellulose gel. (HA group) and 5. Diabetic treated with Photobiomodulation plus Hyaluronic Acid (PBM + HA group). Was used a Low Level Laser emission with a setting of 660nm, 3J, 100mW, with appliance on three spots on the back’s mice. After the mice were euthanized, the back’s animal skin was separated and guarded for morphological, collagen proportion qualification and quantification, an mechanical properties of the skin removed. RESULTS: all Diabetic groups present a decreasing total collagen amount. Also was an alteration on the proportion of collagen I and III, concomitant with an alteration of mechanical properties on the NT and HA groups (Fmax and Dmax decreasing), The PBM group have maintained the collagen proportion I and III like the CTL group, with a maintenance of the Fmax and Dmax similliar to CTL and PBM group. A PBM + HA group didn’t show relevant result, with mechanical resistance less than NT group. Conclusion: Diabetes disrupt the collagen proportion, diminished the skin mechanical resistance. HA makes skin more rigid, messes with Type I and III Collagen proportion. The PBM maintain the good collagen proportion as well for the mechanics properties. Non summatory effects was observed on the association of PBM + HA. |
