| Sumario: | The objective of this article is to reflect on the prevailing indicators in the field of Higher Education, starting from the basis that those who lead in this field are of a marked AngloAmerican character and it is not easy for Ibero-American universities to be found in the first places, because due to their characteristics they do not conform to the indicators established by the prevailing rankings. This does not mean that Ibero-American universities are not even of higher quality than those that are located in the first places, but simply that their teaching, research, management, do not conform to the measurement established by them, but that they respond to less economistic parameters and if more social. For this reason, we will analyze these indicators and make a first proposal to work in the Ibero-American area. |
