| Sumario: | This work presents alternatives to the design and development of a regenerative source prototype for implementation of load tests in power transformers. In this system, the main purpose is to minimize the power necessary for the test, reducing it to the losses due to the internal components. Thereby, it is presented a new scheme to perform tests using PWM power converters. The use of a reversible power converter allows the independent control of the active and reactive power, in both directions, allowing automatic load control. Practical and simulated results are shown, demonstrating the feasibility of the applied techniques. xv |
