Descripción
Sumario:Anchored in the social knowledge perspective of regarding teacher training and dancing as a couple in the academic environment as an investigative object, we discuss the constitution of Ballroom Dancing (BD). This article consists on a qualitative study, based on the correlation of bibliographic sources. 122 productions on the topic were identified between 1994 and 2021, confirming a pedagogical weakness in BD directly related to scarce specific training processes in the area, as well as reflected in academic production on the topic. These facts highlight that BD training processes become an open field for investigations in the most varied areas of knowledge.
