Sumario:The theme of this article is the morphemic variation in P4 (we) in regular verbs of the 1 st  and 2 nd  conjugation. We aim to describe and analyze the canonical and non-canonical forms – such as -a-mo(s) versus e-mo(s), and -e-mo(s) versus -i-mo(s) – in the southeast of Paraná. Therefore, we are based our research on Labov  (2008  [1972];  1994)  and Weinreich,  Labov  e  Herzog  (2006  [1968]), Amaral  ([1920]),  Câmara  Junior  ([1970]),  Castilho  (1992)  and  others.  The research used a qualitative methodology, analyzing spoken and written speech data and writing in Irati and Mallet towns, in the southeast of Paraná. From the results, our hypothesis of non-canonical variant productivity in this region was confirmed.
