Descripción
Sumario:This article aims to discuss the privatization process of Brazilian public education based on the adoption of neoliberal policies that have been in force in the country since the 1990s which materializes the insertion of the private in the public sphere in a more specific way in the educational sector. To carry out the proposed discussion, we adopted as a methodology the bibliographic review based on the dossier Privatization of and in education of the Revista Retratos da Escola, which is a scientific journal of the Escola de Formação, of the National Confederation of Workers in Education. In the case in question, the texts the served as basis for this work were published in 2017 and deal with the advancement of neoliberal policies and how they are part of a corporate project that aims at the privatization of public services and especially Brazilian public education.
