Sumario:This paper presents the results of the first research studies of the visitors characteristics of the Museum of the Veterinary Anatomy of the FMVZ USP conducted in 2012. The methodological approach adopted is characterized by quantitative analysis at organized groups of visitors, the majority of the public museum. The results allowed the recognition of this innovative literature work that relies on a sampled with groups of requests, rather than spontaneous visitors as it is commonly done. This research has revealed important aspects to be strengthened in the institutional planning. The target is the improvement of the museum action system.
