| Sumario: | The article discusses how productivity criteria are crossed by gender inequalities in the scientific field of Communication and how this impact differentially men and women researchers in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is understood that the configuration of academic productivism reflects the meritocratic and neoliberal logic that has been consolidated in academia in recent decades, with the context of Communication still unexplored. Methodologically, the study carries out a bibliometric review of the reference Postgraduate Programs in Communication in the country, which obtained a score of 6 or 7 in the four-year Capes evaluation (2013-2016). The data reflects the portrait of a period in a dynamic scenario and shows the persistence of gender asymmetries and the need to take up the debate around the criteria of excellence and productivity. |
