Sumario:In this work we aim to investigate the political thinking of the Slovenian philosopher and psychoanalyst Slavoj Žižek, focusing on his radical political project. We take as a starting point the delimitation and description of his theory of ideology, and then we take a critical reading of what would become his radical emancipatory project. We affirm that although we can find relevant theoretical contributions on the concept of ideology in Žižek's work, as well as important critiques of the presuppositions of a theoretical left, its proposals for an emancipatory political project are vague, lacking elements that can substantiate a radical political practice without embarking on totalitarianism.
