| Sumario: | What are the challenges for professionals working with different heritage specialties face in the development of activities related to museum documentation? This study is based on the principle that for understanding the museum documentation it is necessary to start from the knowledge of the object of study of Museology and the museological process of each type of heritage. The chosen method was the qualitative one of applied nature with a procedure directed to the case study from the researcher's professional experience in investigative technical work on the archaeological heritage, with the objective of explaining questions between the museum documentation and the specialized areas that it serves. Preliminary results show that museum documentation, as part of the museological process, it needs to meet the specifics of each type of collection. The promotion of research for the documentation maintenance and museum documentation research is one of the contributions of the application of documentary processes adjusted to the specialties. |
