| Sumario: | The main objective of this article is to make a critical analysis about the appropriation of public space by private agents in the city of Araguaína - TO, taking into account the opinions of 100 people interviewed for the referred research. It is an empirical research that shows through the graph that accompanies it that the percentage of the population is quite high that does not agree with this type of social practice in the city. As can be seen from the graph, the majority of respondents (97%) disagree with this social practice of producing urban space in Araguaína. In this way, only 3% agree. This means that the government should intervene directly or indirectly so that this practice of occupying urban space ceases to exist and/or at least decreases, as a way of improving the quality of life of its population and giving a better quality to the urban landscape the city. It is an article that aims to arouse curiosity in people about the aforementioned topic and also in public authorities in order to redirect public policies that are consistent with the improvement of public space, which is so scarce in that city. |
