| Summary: | Neuropsychology arose from interactions among different areas and seeks to understandthe brain and mind relationship, focusing the anatomical basis of cognitive functions. Thisarticle presents an overview of neuropsychology in Brazil in the last five years, through anintegrative review. Data were collected by selecting five information resources: Latin Americanand Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences - LILACS, Scientific Electronic Library Online -SciELO, Electronic Journals in Psychology - PePSIC, Index Psi Technical-Scientific Journals,and Google scholar. The final sample consists of 20 articles, whose predominant methodologicalapproach is quantitative. The journal with most publications was Revista NeuropsicologiaLatinoamericana and the keywords identified, “neuropsychology”, “cognition”, and “executivefunctions”, were the most adopted in the articles. It was concluded, with the present integrativebibliographic review, that the most discussed topic in the context of neuropsychology in Brazilis mental disorders. |
