| Sumario: | The purpose of this article is to show the greater exposure of the migrant population in Argentina to contagion and death by Covid-19, and to explore how the living conditions and the problems of integration and access to rights may explain this higher impact of the disease. The study is developed based on data provided by the Ministry of Health of the Nation that covers the period from January 2020 to May 2021; own processes of the National Migrant Survey of Argentina 2020, among other primary and secondary sources. The work shows that the lower relative propensity of approaching the health system of the migrant population in Argentina and the barriers that are interposed for their access, together with the general disadvantage of their location in the social structure, influence the impact more accused of the disease on this population. |
