Descripción
Sumario:This research aims to describe and analyze syntactic phenomena in the change of the subjunctive verbal mode, in the past imperfect tense, for the imperfect tense of the indicative, observing the colloquial speech in the municipalities of Aparecida de Goiânia, Senador Canedo and Trindade in the state of Goiás. The goal is to verify the causes of this change, with the hypothesis that it is the influence of the speech of other migrants to Goiás, by rural speech, or if there are other causes. It also aims to describe and analyze other syntactic phenomena of change in progress in these regions, as well as to verify the favorable environments of restriction to the use of the subjunctive. The following authors were used as theoretical support: Epifhânio Dias (1918); Said Ali (1964); Cunha & Cintra (1985); Perini (1994); Azeredo (2000); Bechara (2009); Sperança-Criscuolo (2014) and others. The corpus was selected from interviews that allowed a syntactic analysis of structures pertinent to the research. The results obtained in the data analysis indicate that the linguistic conditioners, in the researched communities, prefer to use the indicative mode in speech.
