Descripción
Sumario:In recent decades, we have observed a growing concern about academic misconduct and the increased occurrence of fraud in research activities. Currently, this theme represents a permanent challenge for the editorial team of any academic journal. The subject also gained relevance in several institutions related to academic research, such as universities, journal indexing, databases, and funding agencies. These institutions have been reinforcing the importance of Good Scientific Practice dissemination and adopting mechanisms that aim to discourage practices of academic misconducting. In this editorial we discuss this subject, in view of the debates that have emerged in Brazil and within the scope of the Brazilian Journal of Innovation itself.
