Sumario:Despite the poor discussion around the subject, Literary Tourism appears as a form of cultural tourism, which stands as an alternative to mass tourism. Literature is a strong artistic and cultural expression that may be associated with the creation of images and imaginary that arouses motivation able to transform readers into tourists. Ther efore this article main goal is to analyze possibilities of authenticity regarding the connection between the experiences gained from Tourism and Literature. From this perspective it conducted a theoretical study, covering national and international authors who contribute to the issue at hand. This study shows that the relationship between authenticity and tourism connect directly to human subjectivity.
