| Sumario: | This article aims to present the “biopolitics” in Michel Foucault as a hermeneutic key, a conceptual tool, or even a principle of intelligibility for reading his work. A biopolitics of resistance as a “reflected indolence” that is the driving force of an ethics of attitudes, a posture that gives meaning to his research program. Biopolitics is presented as a concept that develops, being already present, not only in Discipline and Punish, as Revel (2006) points out, but it is below and beyond it, being possible to find its traces in previous and later works and research. . This biopolitics of resistance is the practical evidence of this ethics of a contesting attitude that does not accept domination/subjection, from the first writings to the ethics of caring for the self. |
