Descripción
Sumario:The purpose of this article is to defend the importance of the circle or sphere as a philosophical resource for understanding Schopenhauer's thought. Initially, the image is presented under the pretext of what we call the Schopenhauer's hermeneutic circle, describing a typical methodological circularity of his way of thinking. Then, the image gains depth in the spherical form as a resource to comprehend immanent metaphysics. Finally, the Euclidean geometry is contrasted by intuitive geometry, in order to reason about the imagery usage in Schopenhauer's philosophy.
