| Sumario: | Knowledge sharing is a process for companies to acquire knowledge and remain competitive and adaptable. Organizational initiatives are favorable to knowledge-sharing practices between companies in coworking spaces. Despite this prominence, the sharing of interorganizational knowledge still represents a paradox in the conduct of business. This research analyzes knowledge sharing between companies in coworking spaces and its consequences. A case study was carried out on 5 coworkings, being collected 31 interviews, documents, and observations. Data were analyzed by content analysis. The good practices identified are related to the performance of the managers and employees of the spaces in the interactions; parallel space initiatives; internal structure and distribution and characteristics of the external environment; proprietary digital platforms and interactive media for communication; contact with external professionals; frequency and content of formal events promoted. It contributes to the management of these businesses by showing that autonomous professionals and small teams are more aligned with the dynamics of coworkings; formal events are more favorable for interactions, and facilitation by managers is essential; own digital platforms, Instagram and Whatsapp support the practices identified, evidencing the disuse of e-mail. |
