Sumario:This qualitative study aimed to investigate whether there is resis-tance to women's participation in adventure sports, the impact of confinement and the strategies adopted to deal with social iso-lation, during the COVID-19 pandemic. An online questionnaire was applied to a purposive sample of 32 women who practiced adventure sports. Data show adaptations in the type and timing of training, positive impacts such as more attention to health and more time for training, and negative impacts such as emotional instability, stress, demotivation, difficulty maintaining training, loss of salary and resistance in the early stage of the career.
