| Sumario: | The urban landscape reveals the process of production of space, for two centuries the municipality of Feira de Santana (BA) sought to modernize. For this reason, new features were created, which previously served commerce and free markets living under the same space. Urbanization policies fragmented the places, defining where the marketers had to stay, this reveals the socio-spatial problems of the city itself. The investigation consisted of using images of the urban center in the period 1919-2019, with images of how space was used by society. It is clear that urban policies are aimed at urban expansion, and cultural characteristics are losing their space, suffering a process of socio-spatial exclusion. |
