Although professional education has been present in our country since its colonization, academic discussions about certain aspects of this educational modality, such as the provision for students with disabilities, remain scarce. This article aims to analyze the academic production on professional education for people with disabilities, in order to identify the main challenges in ensuring education for these individuals in this educational modality, as well as the presence of people with disabilities among participants in empirical research. For this, a bibliographic survey was carried out in two repositories - the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) seeking to identify works that focused on the educational path of students with disabilities in professional education and that, in some way, consider people with disabilities as interlocutors in the investigation. As a result, eighteen academic works were identified for analysis based on established criteria, all from public educational institutions. It is noteworthy that most of the recovered research focuses on technical courses at the secondary level. The analysis of the productions leads to the conclusion that the main theme of the study is access to employment, to the detriment of investigating educational aspects involving this modality, whether in terms of regulations, curriculum, and/or accessibility of the formative process for students with disabilities. It is also worth noting the scarce presence of studies involving the participation of students with disabilities. |

Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la producción científica sobre la educación profesional de personas con discapacidad, con fines de identificar los principales desafíos para la garantía de la escolarización de tales sujetos en esa modalidad educacional, según las investigaciones , así como la presencia de personas con discapacidad entre los participantes de las investigaciones empíricas. Se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica en dos repositorios - la Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), de la Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) y la Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), con fines de identificar trabajos que se centren en la trayectoria escolar de estudiantes con discapacidad en la educación profesional y que consideren bajo algún concepto las personas con discapacidad como interlocutoras para la investigación. Como resultado, se ha llegado a dieciocho producciones académicas elegidas para análisis, todas oriundas de instituciones de enseñanza pública. La mayor parte de las producciones recuperadas se dedica a cursos técnicos de nivel medio. El análisis de las producciones permite concluir que el principal tema de estudio es el acceso al trabajo, en detrimento de la investigación de aspectos educacionales envolviendo esa modalidad, sea no que se refiere a las normativas, al currículum y/o a la accesibilidad del proceso formativo a estudiantes con discapacidad. Se destaca también la escasa presencia de producciones que contienen la participación de estudiantes con discapacidad.Apesar de a educação profissional estar presente em nosso país desde sua colonização, ainda são escassas as discussões acadêmicas sobre alguns aspectos dessa modalidade educacional, entre os quais o atendimento a estudantes com deficiência. O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar a produção acadêmica sobre educação profissional de pessoas com deficiência, a fim de identificar os principais desafios à garantia da escolarização de tais sujeitos nessa modalidade educacional, segundo as pesquisas, bem como a presença de pessoas com deficiência entre os participantes das pesquisas empíricas. Para isso, realizou-se levantamento bibliográfico em dois repositórios - a Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) e a Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), buscando identificar trabalhos que tivessem como foco o percurso escolar de estudantes com deficiência na educação profissional, e que considerassem de alguma forma as pessoas com deficiência como interlocutoras na investigação. Como resultado, obteve-se dezoito produções acadêmicas para análise, a partir dos critérios estabelecidos, sendo todas oriundas de instituições de ensino públicas. Ressalte-se que a maior parte das pesquisas recuperadas se volta a cursos técnicos de nível médio. A análise das produções permite concluir que o principal tema de estudo é o acesso ao trabalho, em detrimento da investigação de aspectos educacionais envolvendo essa modalidade, seja no que se refere às normativas, ao currículo e/ou à acessibilidade do processo formativo a estudantes com deficiência.
