Sumario:Introduction: Bicycle Motocross (BMX) is a sport that can be influenced by several variables, including the athletes' mood. Objective: To verify the mood of athletes of the Brazilian BMX Team in the Brazilian Championship and in the BMX World Championship. Materials and Methods: The sample comprised 8 elite male athletes, with a mean age of 19.3 ±2.3 years. The instrument used to verify the athletes' mood was the BRUMS. The data were submitted to the Shapiro Wilk normality test and, according to the distribution, they were compared using the Student's t test, with a significance level of p≤0.05. For the statistical analysis, the Graphic Prism 6.0 statistical package was used. Results: The results showed that significant differences were found only in the fatigue variable during the Brazilian BMX Championship and the BMX World Championship (p˂0.05). Conclusion: We can conclude that the training volume seems to mediate changes in the psychological perception of fatigue, of high performance athletes, in the Brazilian Championship and BMX World Championship.
