Description
Summary:Based on the care provided to a person with ongoing dementia who is dependent on others, the aim of this study is to understand the involvement that takes place in care environments, both inside and outside the home. A qualitative, pragmatic-phenomenological approach was chosen with the aim of understanding the object from the perspective of those who experience it, in their relationship with themselves, with otherness and with their surroundings. Data was collected using direct and participant observation techniques, seeking to understand each human being in detail. From a micro-analytical approach, it was possible to realise that people with dementia are intimately and sensitively involved in care experiences that allow them to move forward in an environment that is sustained by an aesthetic and as rhythmicity that are much more affective, bodily and emotional than rational.
