| Sumario: | This article aims to map the Brazilian academic production on football fans. We performed a systematic review in the DOAJ, SPORTDiscus, LILACS and SCIELO indexers and found a total of 54 articles to be analyzed. The results point to a growing trend of studies on fans and a multidisciplinary character on the subject. Qualitative methods were the most used and fans of elite football clubs were the main subjects of the research. Although the important contributions, we identified some gaps that reinforce the need for future research with different fan profiles and in different regions of the country. |
